Now more than ever before, our society needs to carry Reagan Forward. We need every institution to study, teach, and perpetuate his remarkable leadership lessons.
Michael Reagan
Son of Ronald W. Reagan and Eureka College Trustee
When it comes to Ronald Reagan, there is one college that is the torch bearer. Eureka College is more committed to the living legacy of Ronald Reagan than any other institution of learning in America. Set among the Illinois small towns where Ronald Reagan grew up, Eureka College is his proud alma mater where my dad found a vision and voice that would help him lead throughout his life. In his words, “Everything that was good in my life began here.”
In 1982, my father helped establish The Ronald W. Reagan Leadership Program at Eureka College on the 50th anniversary of his graduation. During the quarter century since, Eureka has proven itself a trusted steward of his initiative. Eureka has awarded 125 Reagan Fellows with full scholarships and world-wide mentors, organized a public museum displaying 3,000 mementos he gave them, and built the Reagan Peace Garden commemorating the beginning of the end of the Cold War. We have big plans for more, but first we must fully fund these existing programs. More than $350,000 in private support is required this year.
What a thrill to share that President J. David Arnold and the trustees are committed to a new “Reagan Forward” vision to expand the legacy of Ronald Reagan at Eureka College for the benefit of our entire nation with new online resources, a Leadership Letters publication, institutes and lectures.
I am asking for your involvement so that Eureka College can turn the Reagan Forward vision into reality. We can help change the nation together. The best way to support the vision is by making a tax deductible gift to the new Ronald W. Reagan Society of Eureka College. Members of the Ronald W. Reagan Society make an investment of $25,000, $10,000, $5,000, $2,500, or $1,000 each year. Of course, other contributions of all amounts are greatly appreciated.
Thank you for your commitment to the “Reagan Forward” vision.
Sincerely,
Michael Reagan

P.S. When I first visited the campus of my dad’s alma mater, I could feel the enduring relationship between my father and this beautiful place. Now I am proud to be connected with Eureka College and know you will enjoy it too. Please join the Ronald W. Reagan Society today. |
